TheraSaunas' far-infrared is produced during the entire sauna session. When reaching temperature, the Soft Touch LCD Controller idles the TheraMitters™ down to under 230°F, then returns to 400°F+ when necessary. This creates an environment where you receive more infrared in 20 minutes than a 40-minute session in competitor saunas.
Consistent 9.4 Micron Range
TheraMitters™ consistently reach the optimal 9.4 micron far-infrared range for human absorption, penetrating up to 2 inches below the skin.

Unlike competitors using hemlock, cedar, or redwood which contain terpenes that gas off harmful cedrine, our furniture-grade aspen from Wisconsin's Northwoods is up to 99% non-toxic and non-allergenic. Aspen is resistant to fungus and bacteria, making it ideal for those with allergies or chronic health conditions.
